The ‘2’ Curve

Senior Designer - concept development and creative articulation of a major channel rebrand
The Brief:
To develop the new “Curve” identity for BBC Two (the channel’s first significant rebrand in 25 years). The identity needed to feel contemporary and distinctive while honouring BBC Two’s reputation for intelligent, diverse, and unpredictable programming. Central to the brief was creating a cohesive system of idents that could flex tonally, reflecting a wide range of moods and genres.
The Result:
A bold identity built around the expressive potential of the Curve. Working with leading UK and international animators, the result was a suite of idents that felt both unified and richly varied in tone. The new system strengthened the connection between programme and channel and marked a new chapter for BBC Two.
